Where to find 170 cast .41?
« on: September 29, 2008, 04:32:06 AM »
I just got my dies for .41.  I found a bullet web-site that sold a heavy lead .41 mag bullets and also offered a 170 for plinking.  The owner had a blurb that 41 was his favorite caliber and was offering 170 for light loads.  However, I cannot find it on net and have checked numerous bullets makers. Does this sound familar or where can I find them?  Also would Trail Boss work with this or would I be better off using Unique for a plinker load?  Thanks

To answer your other question , either Trail Boss or Unique would work well , also look at Titegroup for these loads , it does well with cast bullets in the 41 mag at around the same pressure of TB .

I use Unique and a 210 cast for a plinking load.  Very accurate and manageable in my BH.
