Does anyone wax their 220's & 330's?
« on: September 03, 2008, 01:46:46 PM »
Just wondering how many trappers here wax their 220's & 330's. I life long friend of mine thinks that I'm crazy to wax these but I find them to work a lot faster than if I leave them dry. Call me crazy or call me nuts. It works for me!!!

I have dipped my 330s for years, last thing I want is wax on them.
To each his own--but a warning to new trappers--do not wax your body grippers--most new trappers ,have their hands full setting bigger body grippers anyway--leave the wax to the more adventurous.

I spray paint mine with a camo color.   Seems to keep them from rusting and they work fine.

I've waxed my bodygrips and cleaned the wax off the trigger parts with a propane torch. But on 330s I just dye them as they won't fit in my wax pot. :)
