Score one for the other side, Germany

I was reading a German magazine online (its English edition) and came across this article.  I thought that you all might find it interesting.  There are also links to  some other articles about boars going shopping in a home improvement store (those German cashiers can be rough), and even taking on the police and winning.  Try this:http://www.spiegel.de/international/zeitgeist/0,1518,583377,00.html

I am afraid those Germans just don't get it.  They don't have what it takes to kill pigs.  Restrictions on armament, the lack of good catch dogs, "Rules of Engagement", etc.  why someone would pursue a wounded hog into a corn field where it is impossible to see your feet much less the quary is foolhardy as witnessed by the death of the hunter (w/45 years of experience - apparently none of which was hunting hogs)!

I have been to North Rhine-Westphalia about 25 years ago.  Beautiful place.  Rolling hills.  Lot of places for pigs.  I had nothing to do with the introduction of pigs into that area...or any other German or American place.
