I'm not the biggest Leupold fan, but that rimfire scope would be an excellent choice, as would the rimfire models from Burris. Weaver also makes some fine rimfire scopes in its Classic line, which I would put up against scopes that are twice the price. I'd probably opt for a fixed power scope myself, as I get older and gain more experience every year, I am gravitating toward fixed power scopes more often, as I very rarely ever use the zoom on a variable. But I'm definitely in the minority as far as that goes.
