this might not be the correct forum but i am looking for any information on public shooting ranges in either campbell, kenton, bracken, or pendelton counties. i would like to find a place a little closer to home than the Lloyd range in Boone county.

I live in Campbell and the only one I know of is Lloyd range as well.  You're best bet would be to contact the various private clubs and see if they are taking new members, or if you know someone in a club, see if they can hook you up.  There's a gun shop called Shooter's or something like that, it was near where Independence and Covington converge on Rt. 17 that supposedly bought some land to have a range, but I've never been to it, nor do I know anyone that has.  Or better yet, buy some land and open one.  LOL.

If you're just shooting pistols, there's Mark's Gun Shop in Florence that has a pistol range, as does Bud's Gun Shop in Paris, KY.

thanks for the response. the gun clubs that i have approached have 1+ year waiting list.
the place you are speaking of in independence is shooters supply, not to be confused with RLC shooters supply in Florence. i am aware of their indoor 25 yd range but was unaware of the possibility of an outdoor range. i go there to buy reloading components so i will ask about an outdoor rifle range on my next visit.

Used to shoot @ Lloyd's WIldlife a lot. Took my Instructor's Test for Hunter's Safety Course there.
I used to live a few miles from Mark's in Florence & shot there quite a bit too. That's where we qualified for our CCW.
