Fun with Camo Paint and an old Marlin 60
« on: October 06, 2008, 08:02:14 AM »
I am looking at painting my 10FP (.308) with the Super Sniper Stock.

Before I did it, I wanted to play with the paint on one my old guns. I have an old Marlin Model 60 that I have had since 1984 and decided to practice on that one.

A couple of years ago I put a new Synthetic Stock on it since the old one was beat to heck! So yesterday I painted the Marlin.

I used Krylon Camo (w/fusion bonding) and a base coat of Khaki...I worked the Brown and Green in using some stuff I found around the yard.

Let me know what you think...thanks!

Satx. That's a "DYNOMITE" rabbit gun! Looks like the pro's did it.

Thanks! It is exactly that...a rabbit gun!

I took it out he ranch this weekend and set it up in the grass...my son now thinks he has all the tolls to be 'Rabbit Sniper'. Aside from plinking, that gun has put more than it's share of Rabbits on the grill or stove.

Thanks for looking and for the comments.
