worthless d.a. and office maroons...
« on: October 15, 2008, 10:45:30 AM »
well we caught the putz that ran me off the road and caused me to crash my harley.   the da has not charged them with hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, only passing up a hill.   been calling them people since early september and they NEVER call me back.  i called today and told the lady right out of the gate i was not happy and why.  she tried to play pass the buck.  got a really big attitude with me too, was almost yelling at me because i expected them to do their job.   it got to the point i had to remind her that she works for john q. public, and she was on the phone with them.   what an obnoxious woman.   cut me off time and again then, without warning transfered me to voicemail; effectively hanging up on me.  i left her boss a message explaining my experience with his office, left my number and requested he call me back.  i have to be over there next monday, and i am thinking i may have to go early and stop in person.  perhaps they can be more polite face to face.  arrgggg!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not familiar with your situation, but, if you have evidence or proof, have you considered suing the person?? Often that gives more satisfaction then a criminal charge.

in most cases.  the problem here is pure incompetence.  i finally talked with the guy yesterday and i was appauled at the way this guy talked to me.   after the second time he swore at me, i told him i would come down to the office and him and i could talk face to face.  then he threatened to "throw my ass in jail for disorderly conduct".    i told him he needed to quite swearing, to which he said he hadnt.  i also told him i WOULD come down to the office and i would be bringing a sherriff's deputy with me as he is a public servant and i am the public and i have every right to.   at that point his tone changed and we talked about the issue i needed to talk with him about, which he became helpful.
it burns me that these public servants forget that they are indeed public servants and then they try to use their position to bully others.  especially, in this case, THE VICTIM OF THE CRIME!    it is also outragous that i had to call at least 5 times over a month and a half to get him to call me back.   i will be over there monday on other buisness and i am  thinking about stopping in personally.

Prosecutors run on statistics...they don't like loosing and fouling up their statistics.. They prosecute winable charges relative to the time needed to invest in a case, an the political mileage they can get out of a case....i.e. it is a business decision.  Could it be that..?

..TM7

And defense lawyers run on money! If there is no good money in it, they are seldom interested. They are more "business driven"  than any prosecutor, if not more so. Their life style makes that quite apparent.

When you go down there myronman3 leave your billfold at home, and don't bend over around him. Prosecutor or not, he's still a lawyer.

myronman3, I am not the brightest crayon but being aware of your situation, am trying to figure out your goal of this endeavor.

Your Insurance company took care of your damages..Yes?

Are you simply checking to make sure that this fellow gets his due processing?
If so, good for you because you know that if he gets off light he will be back on the road soon (if not already) and be back to his old tricks and perhaps hit someone instead of just
Running them off the road. >:(

even though the insurance did cover it, i still took a huge lose.  they never give you what they are truely worth.
the main goal here is to make sure the guy is held accountable for his actions.  to date,  he has been given chance after chance.  in fact, they didnt charge him with hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident; just passing up a hill.  pretty weak if you ask me, who was almost killed because of this little jerk.     i want him to realize what he did and how close he came to almost killing someone and making 3 small kids fatherless, and a good woman a widow.
