has anyone shot the LONG shot cased HOTSHOT ammo in a standard 10" barrel [no choke]?
My purpose will be close range snake killing. Shots will be no futher than 20 feet I would guess. I hope the white plastic case will protect the rifling from excessive leading.
OR,,is this ammo "collectible"?
Boxes are full,,,but tattered. They've been in this store for a LONG time.

I fired some of them without a choke once right after I got my gun in 78...they didn't open up until they hit hard objects....worked great with the choke though, got a few grouse with them.  Not sure if they are collectable yet or not...still see them around in quite a few places.

I have sold just the capsules on ebay for over $10 a box. The ammo is definately collectable and I wouldn't fire a single round.
