Obama Camp Scraps National Anthem

The Obama campaign asked Zach Bencal of Londonderry, New Hampshire to sing the National Anthem at an Obama rally there Friday and then told him to forget about it -- they had scratched the National Anthem from the program.

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, the Obama people dumped the Star Spangled Banner to make room for another speaker.

"We regret the miscommunication with Zach about today's event, but we are pleased that several other New Hampshire residents were able to speak at today's event where thousands of voters in both parties gathered to hear Sen. Obama discuss his plan to bring the change we need to Washington," Sandra Abrevaya, communications director for the Obama campaign's Manchester office told the Union Leader.

Bencal, who the Union Leader explained sings the anthem for a number of school events and is actively involved in local community theater, had been contacted by the Obama campaign to sing the anthem. He agreed to do so, then was told later in the evening the anthem had been scratched from the program. Bencal said he was told by the campaign the decision was a simple programming change to make room for another speaker.

"I guess it just wasn't meant to be," Bencal said.

Commenting on the incident, Union Leader reader Jean Holden of Manchester N.H. wrote to the newspaper: "That says a lot about what Obama does not stand for and that's 'America.' John McCain is 'proud' to be an 'American' and has shown it in many ways while Obama refuses to say the Pledge and have our nation's anthem sung at his rallies."

Is this another example of Change?  Our National Anthem is of so little importance to Obama that he cancels it so that his message of Change can be further stressed by another speaker.   Am I the only person who sees this Change similar to the 20 years attendance in a church, who's pastor promotes black, racial Change by damning whites and America?  It is obvious this pastors message has influenced Obama's decisions, regardless of his so called dis association and lack on knowledge in regard to Wright's philosophy.  What other influenced messages from Rev Wright will affect Obama'a decisions if he is President?  "Change" the Presidential seal?

It seems everywhere i go, or when i listen to my short wave radio all people talk about is the fall of the U.S.
Its the talk all over the World , Alaska will become part of Russia again, and Mexico will take back large sections.
America is reduced to a small collection of commonwealths some where around the middle of what it is now.
I would laugh this off years ago ,but the way they are running Washington anymore i am not so sure this may be closer to truth than fiction.
What if Americans don't want this to happen ? i sure wish we would get back to what we need to be as a Nation.
The way they are doing people are not going to stand up for anything like it is they are doing now ,only the way it was and should be.
We need to start deporting some people ,and bring back the word Treason , Plaster the Constitution all over the place and you live by it or leave.
And live by it means obey it ,word for word no interpretation ,no ifs, ands or buts.
You murder you hang , You may defend yourself , you may become rich by your own sweat , you may believe in GOD.
The Media may report and speak their views ,short of Treason.
