Rainier Bullets
« on: November 07, 2008, 07:58:29 AM »
I'm sure someone on here has had some experience with these bullets. Cabelas has them for $49.99 for 500. Are they any good? I'm looking at the 115gr 9mm (.355) hollow points.

I have found them to be a very good bullet for the price. I have gotten good accuracy from them in several different cal`s. While not bench rest bullets, they don`t do bad.

I have used the 147 gr in 9mm with no complaints and they are priced pretty good.

Have loaded them in 40 and 9mm..found only few that appeared to be crushed that somehow got by QC department..but they are good bullets.. I use them in Glock 22..where one is not supposed to use lead bullets..

They are very desirable for indoor ranges. The plating is copper electroplating. They take a lead core and electroplate copper onto it. This completely covers the bullet - no exposed lead.
