Well I am pumped! went to the range today and tried a ladder test of rl 15 and 55gr v-max bullets. 34,34 1/2 and 35 gr. This a completly new set up so the first 5 shots got it to zero. Cleaned the barrel real good and let it cool down. Then shot the next 34 gr loads and............ 3 of the 5 were touching each other! the other two opened it up to a 3/4" group. WOW!! I like results like that. Then I tried the 34.5 and the 35 loads and they oped up respectively to 1.75" group. So it looks like it is going to 34 though I have already loaded some up with 33.8 just to make sure it does'nt get better.
One other thing I did was adjust the trigger. No it is not the accutrigger but I did mess with the engagemnet screw and spring to where it is MUCH MUCH better but not anywhere unsafe. It breaks clean with no creep. I really have to get a trigger scale though. "nice" "better" "much much better" is not much of a scale for anyone wondering. It is a lot like fat, ugly & rich............it is relative of what you comparing it to.
Now I need to shoot it over my chrony and do a trajectory table, scale it down, and attach to the stock.
