Sharps Price Check?
« on: March 03, 2009, 01:43:19 PM »
A friends father in law won a Sharps rifle in 45/70 cal. Its their 20th Anniversary model  (2004) and is engraved with the same. Its #333 out of 500 and is unfired. The gun was made in Italy. He is looking for a fair price to sell it . Thanks for any help -1Longbow

You said the rifle was made in Italy. However, you didn't say by what company.

The make needs to be specified, before a guestimation of it's value, can be made...! And that is what it will be, is a guess.

In straight words, something is only worth, what someone else is willing to pay for it.

Sorry ,my fault it was made by Tri-Star. Understand the price thing .I don't think that he is trying to retire off it ,just a fair guesstimate. Thanks -1Longbow

Buds Gun Shop (www.budsgunshop.com) lists the TriStar for $743. Now if it was a Shiloh Sharps....
If he's carrying a singleshot, don't expect a warning shot!
