Lots of ?? there! If you are talking about the HUNTING shot, I set up in a ground blind. I TRY to be facing the direction a deer (or other critter) will be coming from or crossing in front of me. I usually have a bipod or even a table in the blind.That makes the shot so much easier.When going to and from the stand I have long shooting sticks that double as walking sticks. I use what ever is available to help steady ME and the gun for the shot. I ain't wyatt Earp and can't shoot "from the hip" very well! I'm not to proud to use a tree ,fence post or other natural rest in a situation where a quick shot is needed. I keep my scope on its lowest power(4x normally) till I see a deer at a distance I want more x's.
