Mossberg 600 AT

Hey All:

I just purchased a Mossberg 600 AT with a 24" Rifled Slug Barrel, it's sitting at my FFL's shop waiting for me to pick it up on Friday.

I have been told that 500 Barrels are interchange-able so I got a 500 26" C-lect barrel for it, in a scope trade.

What can you tell me about it?

they usually  ran the 600 under the newhaven brand name of mossbergs , sortof th discount store  ones, nothing wrong with them , just a 500  but they usually held 6 rounds, instead of 5, all 500 barrel will lock up fine , i had a 600 for years with a 18in slugger on it , i think when they atarted makin th maverick 88 they dropped the 600 line

so did ya get it picked up? how  do you like it

the only difference i beleive is the 600 hasn't got a vent rib and many if not all had c-lect chokes on them.
