1874 Sharps advice....

I am lookin at several 45/70 sharps repro's.  IAR,EMF, or Pedersol.  Any feedback on these.

Howdy Lookin' Back!   :D  

I have an IAB Sharps.  It looks like this:

It looks decent to me!  Wood to metal is good, the wood has some figure to it, stock and fore end match,  the colors are bright and the barrel is well posished and deeply blued.  
The trigger is almost impossible unless you use the set.  Heavy doesen't describe it.  I have my set trigger at about 2 lbs. till I do a bit more shooting with it.  ( I shot a friends C Sharps with the set trigger at 8 oz.  I didn't care for that!!)
So far my shooting has been limited to fire forming cases, but even with loads for another gun, this one is showing promise!  I can't attest to it's durability, I haven't had or shot it long enough.

Though I'd love to have a Shilo, I have no complaints, nor dissappointments with this "less than half the price" substitute

I have a Pedersoli Silhlouette Sharps in .45-70.  If a Shiloh is much better than this rifle,  I'd like to see it.  The Pedersoli is better finished than the I.A.B.

ordered on fri....now the wait begins ..have the dies and am starting to roll some up of my own..going light to start...300gr's at about 1400 fps..

I CANNOT MAKE UP MY MIND WHAT TO BUY A PEDERSOLI SILHLOUETTE SHARPS 45/70 OR A MODERN RIFLE FOR TARGET SHOOTING.
THE SHARPS CAN IT HAVE A TELESCOPE LIKE MODERN RIFLES

Yes, in fact the NRA has just instituted a scoped class for BPCR single shots. However, the scopes must be period in appearance, ie no modern short scopes,  This is what you want:  http://lautard.com/RHO/
