simmons whitetail classic

anybody use a simmons whitetail classic--Cabelas has them on sale for
$100 bucks.  I'm looking to put one on my muzzleloader

Bought a new one once upon a time, a 4-12 with huge hulking objective. Sorriest piece of trash I've ever owned. Gave it away without a second thought. Will NEVER own another Simmons regardlesss. Nope not even if free, I have better ways to put my time and ammo to use.

I agree with GB.  I have seen people use these at the shooting range and have literally seen the reticles fall apart from even moderate recoiling rifles.  On other Simmons, I have seen adjustment mechanisms not work properly.  

Don't even look a Simmons. :evil:
