Well I could NOT pass up this one. I stoped by a local outfitter today and he had the most beutiful 44mag lever gun a win 94ae 18bbl Pack Rifle version. Its used and has an early 6m serial # range. It absoulutly mint and I don't believe ever fired. It has the pistol grip stock and a saddle ring.
The wood is at least a grade 2 walnut with a rich, deep grain with the high gloss finish like you would find on the high end browning lever guns. The wood is of such high quality its more likly you would see this wood on a very expensive OU shot gun. Even the blueing is a step up from at least todays blueing that comes from Marlin and Win. Its an absolute gem and at $225 I could not rip the check book out of my pocket fast enough !!! and threw it at the guy and said wrap that one up to Go !!!!
Very interesting timing . Now, do I put a scope on it or peep
