I had a problem with a new set of Redding dies (.223). Near as I can figure the seater didn't have the final drilling operation done on it. It would leave a ring on the bullet when seating. After comparing it to another Redding seater (same part, different caliber, 220 Swift) I found the bullet wasn't going inside the seater as deep (by .05 appx). The Swift seater was also machined to conform to the bullet shape.
One phone call to Redding, and a new part on the way! No BS, no excuses, no runaround.
"I'm sorry about the problem sir, I'll send you a new one today"
Good people, good products!
