People say I know a lot about Winchesters, however, I have never heard about a Winchester 622 lever action... Let me see what I can find.

Is model 622, imprinted on the barrel...?

Later: Google didn't know anything about it... So, I am at a loss

As far as I know there never was a 622.
There was a model 1873, a model 9422 and a model 255.
I think they were the only lever 22s ever made under the WINCHESTER name.

i cant remember what the model name was. it was a 22mag. winchester tube feed. looked like a black aluminum receiver wasnt shaped like a 94 but more like a 61 but a lever action.

My bet is it's a model 255.
They are nice guns if in fact that's what it is.
Mine shoots fine and has never gave me a bit of trouble.
Don't use it much anymore, have others that took its place.
It's now in the collection.
