Welcome aboard GJ, My Handi is the cheapest centerfire rifle that I own but it has become my favorite. You are in for alot of fun with the Handi-Rifle just be prepared to buy another one or two and maybe some extra barrels. It's a disease most of us have caught and no cure has been found. If you're not carefull you'll become a Handiholic. ;D

GOOD SHOOTING!

Welcome GJ.
Handiholic is an under statement!!!
I just picked up my RMEF 35 Whelen yesterday that I traded Buzz out of.
That makes number 21 + 7 extra barrels.
Yes they are addictive and some of us have it worse than others!   :D ::)

Come often and stay long!
You will learn a lot, meet a lot of good folks, and have a lot of fun.   :)

 Welcome Garrett,

Be sure to read the FAQs at the top of the page and check the back pages too. If you go all the way to the begining you'll see tons of interesting reading.

For 14 that is a good start.  I'm building up my collection to pass to my kids and with 7 of 'em that excuse still works for my lovely bride.  Course she hasn't seen all of them together for a while.  Good thing about Handis is you can just say you changed the stock, or "no honey, I've had that one a long time." ;) ;D ::)  DP

Welcome aboard ;D It is good to see younger hunters/shooters get the "fever". I really like my Handis. They are short, they are single shots and they are handy. My avatar is a picture of my Ultra Varmint in 223. It is my only rimless Handi, the others are all rimmed. Take some time to read the FAQ, you may never need to know the information there, but it is an interesting read and gets you familiar with the ins and outs of H&R rifles. Good Luck and Good Shooting. ;)
