How often do you think a buck will return to a fresh new scape?

Depends on phase of the rut, hunting pressure, the buck, maybe the Dow Jones Industrail average.  Just too many factors to make an accurate judgement.  Most scrapes that are "freshened" regularly are scraped at night.

here in mo. now is the time to keep a eye on yur scrapes yu have found. the falling leaves will cover up a inactive one or rarely visited one. resident buks seem to keep a pretty close eye on the ones they make in the core area they live but noresident traveling buks may make them and leave and never visit again.anybody have any insight on this?i know one thing, if yu find a "line" of them like several in a 40 acre or so area that buck will be bak. if yu dont penetrate too far into his bedding area and stink it all up.to me scrapes are just a good indicator a buk is working a certain area, look for the funnels in and out of this area.
