Drilling man,
I did say that it may have been a reloading issue and I was just making a statement as to what my discovery was after some 40 years of reloading ammo and many thousand rounds myself, such as you.I don't mean to open a can of worms here, just giving my finds. I wouldn't hesitate to buy factory Remington ammo for hunting.I just won't handload it again when I feel that there are better cases out on the market to rely on.And I have never had a split case issue with any other case brand.I realize that we are off track by talking about reloading issues when we shoud be talking about factory stuff. But then again, that is why I don't like the Remington factory loads.I like to reload once fired cases out of my rifle and they may have to lay around for a while. I want to have the confidence that they will survive their rest until the time comes when they will be put to work.
