Walther P22 3.42" barrel opinions
« on: December 15, 2008, 12:58:50 PM »
I have the opportunity to pick up a Walther P22 NIB for $280 which is a good price.  The question is, who of you own one and what are your opinions of it...ie. feeding, accuracy etc,
Dana
Ruger M77 243, Browning B2000, Ruger 22's, Ruger Red Hawk, SBlackhawk, Savage 223 Target...about 20+rifles less than I used to have. :-(

That price is a steal.  Get it.  I just picked mine up and a buddy is waiting for the paperwork to clear on his.  We put a couple of boxes of ammo through it yesterday and it is a heck of a lot of fun to shoot.  It is accurate and reliable and with the way the factory had set the sights, mine needed no adjustment.

Functioning was flawless and we hit what we were aiming at, which was a large bunch smaller than the side of the barn (lololol).  First shots/mag out of the box and I was plunkin'm into a 2x2 label on a box, then I was skippin' old soda cans.  Distance was about 20-25 yds.  This is a real keeper and will probably see a lot more field work than my Ruger, which I would not give up fer nutin, but it weighs a bunch more, is not take down friendly and likes only certain brands of ammo.  This P22 eats everything I have put through it so far..  HTH.  Mikey.
