November 20, Good Morning Montana
« on: November 20, 2008, 02:54:47 AM »
Good morning everyone. A little frost on the pumpkin this morning, 14 degrees this morning.  I'll have to get a long sleeve shirt out.

Woke up to the alarm going off, wife springs out of bed...what the heck, deer season ended last week. Turns out the neighbor across the alley is have an in the garage garage sale that starts at  7AM and she doesn't want to be late.

Wait a minute we have boxes of stuff sitting here wait for good weather to hold a yard sale and she's going going to some one elses sale to buy stuff?

Oh well, maybe they have some hunting stuff.

Feeling a bit better today but have to watch what I do and how I do it so not to stress the shoulder.

Thought I would show you this as I had gotten this just last week as I got a new hunting rig.......

Well it' sorta kinda new to me anyways....

I know some guy's are jeepsters, dodgers, chebers and forders   and all but I do believe God had His hand on this one. A buddy of mine had found a 89 Toyota 4X4 extended cab AT with 4 Cylinder on Craigs list for $1200.00 189K miles with no reverse which could be an electrical problem. Bill had me go and test drive and look it over as our vehicles here have almost zero to no road rust from our winters. Well my friend Bill sent a check from Wisconson and had me purchase this for him, then send him the title paper work so he could license it and drive back from here.

Well he came out and then didn't like it.

So he decided to look around, and found a 98 Ford Ranger with extended cab 4X4 for $4500.00 so now he felt comfortable driving 1500 miles back to Wisconson.

Well he says to sell it for $1,000.00 or if I get more to keep the extra for my trouble.

So then he asks me if I would like to buy the Toyota from him on payments of $100 a month. Peggy (myy wife) now is stressed cuz of the fixed income situation, but then our daughter Amber ask if I was going to sell my 89 Nisson 2 wheeldrive truck, and if she could pay $100 a month of 10 months -

You get the picture and I hope some are yelling PRAISE THE LORD!

the ex owner is behind the wheel in these pictures

So this afternoon I took the Wisconson title down to our motor vehicles and for $3.00 they give me a 40 day temporary tag.

I had an 81 Toyota 4Wd PU that I ran until 1995, 298, 000 mile on it.  Sold it to a guy who drove to El Salvador. Whined about selling for years after wards.

My F150 is miles more comfortable, but earlier this year when I was filling the tank on the F150 for $4 a gallon, I was whining for that Toyota again.
