MGM 30-30IMP scores!!!!

No monster but, but D.O.A.  ;D This is my first kill with the MGM 30-30IMP. It was a frontal shot, straight in the brisket at about 60yds. The Nosler 125gr. B-Tip did its job, dropping him dead in his tracks. :o

G2 Tender, 14" MGM 30-30IMP., Burris 3X12 scope, custom grip and forearm built by myself. Shot was made sitting shooting off of Underwood shooting sticks custom made to my specs.

That will be some good eating. Nice looking handgun, I've always thought the 30-30 AI would be the cats meow in a Contender.

John used to be a regular poster here and was discussing becoming an advertiser of the site but then just kinda dropped off the site. I've not heard from him in a month of Sundays and was wondering if something had happened to him.

I passed on 3 SMALL (and I mean small) Coues opening day this year as I had
a Good buck on my camera hitting the spot on a regular bases.
Unfortunately my back went out the next morning while tyeing my boots
and never made it back out.
Hope I can draw a tag for next year and get one with my Contender.

Nice going Dave!!!  Run a few of those bucks over the mountain to the Virginia side.  I fared well in muzzleloader season, but got no shots for the Contender during the regular gun season.  I left my 30-30AI in the box this year and used the 6.5JDJ.  GOOD SHOOTIN', Walt ;D
