CZ527M Carbine question

I'm new to the CZ rifle family and recently purchased an used 527M Carbine in 223.  No one can tell me what the "M" (527M) means.  Does anyone here know?  My best guess is Mauser.

Is the the new one with the 3 round clip? I don't know this  but if it is the M may be because the 3 rounder is an M1 model, Just a guess thou.

No, it's the 5 round magazine and the manufactured year is 2006.

one of the online translators gave about 15 words for "short", one of them was "maly".  maybe the "M" is abbreviation for that.

"carbine" was "karabina" so that wasn't it.

I called CZ and spoke to a gunsmith who believes it means Modified.  He hasn't seen any in the shop, but CZ did have a problem (in the 90's) with steel casings bending at the shoulder.  So, the chambers were modified to better support the cartridge from rolling the case.  I'm not exactly sure how it occurs, but it sounds reasonable to me.
