My first ML is a T/C Black Mountain Magnum in 50 cal. cap lock. I have put about 30 loads through it trying to work up a hunting load. Seems to to ok with 260 gr. sabots and 100 gr. powder. Any lighter slug with 100 gr. shoots way high (6 in.) at 50 yards. I hunt mostly swamps in Florida so seldom get a shot over 80 yards. Anybody have the same gun, if so what loads work for you ?
