Aint havin a good day, I woke up again last night after I got back to sleep cuz I rolled on my left shoulder side. On top of that yesterday one of my wifes daycare mom's thought I was her son comin in my front door. She turns and comes down with her hand ontop of my left shoulder hard right over the collarbone joint that was removed. I wasn't nice about my response, even though she said she was sorry cuz she didn't know about my surgery. I still said, I did not give you permission to touch me  I don't care if she takes her kid and removes him from my wifes daycare.

Just got up to have some coffee....... maybe a lortab

OUCH!  Don't blame ya Montanan.  Some of us need our bubble of space, if ya don't know me, keep off.  We finished up at 5:30 tonight, looks like we might have 80 or so not picked up this year.  4 days off to recoup and get going on Christmas.  Found out today that we are the only agency getting the toys from TOYS for TOTS and we will distribute them to the other agencies as well as the families we have signed up.  One of the local Wal-Marts called me and said they have a $1,000.00 check for us to use for toys this year.  They have always supported us thru our Back to School program and Christmas.  You guys and your brides have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.  I gotta see how to cook a turkey that has been skinned without it drying out. ???   I'll let ya know how that goes. :D  DP

Montanan, There is a guy over on Nitro Express fourm that went through shoulder surgery like you did, last year.  He got a deer yesterday.  Here's his story, read it an pay attention to the caliber he is shooting and tell me if that is encouraging for you.

I have a rifle in the same caliber and I'll let you shoot it next year.

That would be awesome to shoot one of those Nitro Express rifles.  I used to own an original Rem #1 Rolling Block in 45-90 where I was shooting 550-gr pp bullets in both black and nitro loadings  ;D

I would have no problem shooting even my Marlin Guide Gun right now since my good shoulder is not effected by the surgery... I'm right handed and surgery on the left side.  This week-end the ol Guide Gun will be going affield and I will have my son inlaw carry just in case I have a longer than normal shot, while I attempt to hunt with my S&W 629 6" .44 Mag.

I still have two doe tags to fill and we got until 30 past sunset to fill them on Sunday evening.
