Question for you 445 Super mag users?

Just got a barrel rechambered to 445sm and wondering what velocities you are getting with your loads?  Also, have any of you tried Lil Gun for your loads?  Plan on 270 Gold Dots , 300 XTP's and 265-310gr cast.  Thanks

I'm getting 1977 fps.with W 296 and the 300 gr.XTP's,and 2166 with the 296 and a Hornady 265 gr.  I've killed several hogs and deer with the 265's and they shoot great,along with the 300's. The 240's will do 2255 fps. I'm using the Sierra book,with a half a grain off max with most bullets.The 180's are real mover's also at 2500 fps + Hope this helps.  Digger

can you shot 44mag through the 445 super mag?

Yes you can still shoot 44 mags and 44 specials in the 445.You will probably have to clean the chamber after fireing the 44's because of residue in the chamber.  Digger
