Bolt action muzzleloader question
« on: December 01, 2008, 06:05:20 AM »
Went to the gun show in Oklahoma city this past Sunday and there was a fellow carrying around a muzzle loader that he was trying to sell. It had a regular black bolt a realtree stock an scope but the barrel was stainless and fluted 50 cal and also was carrying a 45 cal barrel stainless and was fluted that he said you could just change out. I did not get a real good look at it or catch the name that he said it was. Had a good price on it 275. but he did not seem to interested in making a sales pitch just kept on walking, wished I would have talked to him more. Any one got an Ideas of what it could have been? Maybe he could tell his wife no one wanted it :) :) :).

In doing more research I may have found the answer. In looking through my gun books the only muzzleloader that I found in stainless fluted barrels and also bolt action and 45 or 50 cal was the winchester x-150 bolt action mag. anyone got one and how do you change the barrel?

I am thinking after the post that it may have been a Knight KP1 have to do some more checking.
I have a CVA 209 mag and it did not look like it.
