.358 Win and RCBS 200gr gaschecked coming
« on: November 16, 2008, 02:02:00 PM »
If anyone has a pet .358 Win loads with H4895 please let me know.  Just picked up Ruger M77, plan to move to heavier bullet but will have the RCBS gaschecked 200gr to start.
Thanks

I've used the 35-200 in 35 Whelen and .35 Rem.  Great bullet.  I'll be using it in my 358 Win soon - have had the Savage 99 for 3 years, just getting dies for it now.

So many guns/moulds, so little time.

What's your rate of twist?  My Rem 700 (35 Whelen) is 16" and didn't do the 358009 worth spending the money on a primer.

The Hawkeye .358 is a 1:10.  I think I should be OK even when I find 250gr bullets.  I'll shoot cast with it; hopefully recoil won't be punishing.  Was thinking about a rubber full oif lead shot for inside the stock!
