Mach2 out of a 17hrm

Can you use 17 Mach2 in a 17HRM Contender barrel? Have'nt done it just wondering.

No, and don't even try it!  The Mach2 is based on the .22 LR case which has a smaller diameter then the .17 HRM which is based on the .22 Magnum case.  The .17 M2 will probasbly burst and allow gas and small brass particles to be blown out between the frame and barrel.
