Omega Z5

A local box store has a T/C Omega Z5 and accessories for $230. I don't know much about muzzle loaders. I this a good starter package? There are only two on the shelf, I don't expect they will last long as they are marked down 85 dollars or so. Any opinions welcome, Thanks

I've never seen a Z5 priced that low.

If it's the pack with the bullets, etc., that's a pretty good price.  I think that they were $298 at Wal-Mart.  Of course, if you have some patience, I bought a Z5 new in the box (no extras) for $158 at Wal-Mart last year.  I paid $295 shipped NIB for my stainless/syn that I'm using this year.  So that's a good deal, but you might be able to hit the net and find a better deal.

Thompson Center also has a mail in rebate for $50 on the Z5 you can download the form from TC's sight.  If you factor that in the gun would be $180.  Now that's a good deal.
