Midland/Gibbs in 6.5x55
« on: August 19, 2003, 03:19:17 PM »
I saw this rifle the other day for just over $300. the most I could find out was that it was made in the same plant as hale/parker had cheaper wood. But supposed to be pretty accurate and really nice looking. Mauser action with 03 bolt engraved? floorplate. any thoughts yes no too much. I've got an itch for 6.5.

thanks

Norville :  Book is showing a 6.5x55 that was disc. in 1994 on the model 2600 midland 100% $350 down to $150 for one in 60% / now they also show a model87 target for $1375 that came in a 6.5x55 / and there is a model 1000 for $425, so there you are , narrow it down to a specific model # and the price as you can see could be a real bargin. :D    JIM

Norville :  No I dont the best would be to have a model # to work off of and it would get us on the same page and maybe track it down. :D   JIM
