wondering if anybody ever stripped that black paint or whatever it is on the handi frame, off and reblued?  is the finish hard to get off?  how did it turn out?

I've stripped and reblued a blued Handi frame, but not a black matte frame, I used BC bluing remover and then sanded it with 320 wet dry, then 600. Be sure to completely disassemble the entire frame tho, you don't want bluing or any other chemicals on the pin splines.

I think the dull black is parkerizing of some flavor.  If it is then about the only thing to take it off will be sand paper.  Larry
