A hunting buddy from upstate NY bought one when they were first offered. He has an old .30-06 760 and a 7600 in .35 Whelen and uses a Remington 870 shotgun as well. So, he is committed to these rifles. I used to shoot the 06 and .35 Whelen, and they were honest 1.5 MOA rifles. My buddy is not a good shot, but claims he can get close to 1 MOA with the 7615 rifle. As you probably know, it takes AR15 magazines. He has never had a problem with decent surplus magazines. From his experiences and my limited shooting of a 760 I once owned, if you like the pump action, this 7615 is a a specialized and quite well executed variant based on what arguably is one of the best pump rifles offered IMO.
