which barrel for 6.5mm-06

what would be a good barrel to have fitted to rebore and chamber to 6.5-06?would the 25-06 work or would i have go smaller?reason i was asking about the 25-06 is it 26" long which would be a great barrel length for the 6.5-06.i used to have a custom mauser in 6.5-06 and loved it (wish i still had it).i still have my dies and brass and a few reloads on hand.

Give Wayne a call or email and ask him, seems to me he said it was too close to clean up, but I may be thinking of something else, it's been 2yrs since I talked to him about the 6.5 bore when I had him do the 6.5 Swede.
