Just one of those days -UGG

Started out by casting some bullets for mine and my BIL's 44 mag's , all went well till I started to load rounds , it seems that the mold I picked up on E-bay was a .427 for the 44-40 not a .430 for the 44 mag - yuck

Then it got even better , turns out that my 44 mag sizing die is on the big side , running an I.D. of .433 , so not only do I need a new mold , I also need a new set of 44 mag dies - yuck & yuck

Said to H--- with it and ran down to the range to ring out some of the 44g , cast G/C'ed .224's that I loaded in my 224GNR , well do the words Shotgun Pattern mean anything , best group was 5 shots on a 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper . Don't think that those little bullets like to go that fast , will save the rest for the 22 Rem Jet . yuck & yuck & yuck

Decided to just quit while I was bebind !!!!  ;D
