Mil Ball M2 ammo in Remington 7400
« on: February 06, 2009, 05:12:35 AM »
Anyone voicing any objections to using Military (Greek) M2 ball .30-06 ammo in Remington 7400 autoloader?

I have alot of it and want to save the hunting bullets for hunting. It seems to cycle well, I am a little concerned with its length.

Anyone?

Hunted deer for years with some older hunters than pulledbullets from military 30-06 and replaced with same weight jacketed soft point bullets in the remington 740, 742 and some 7400 autos.  Keep them clean expecally chambers ad they functioned great. Saw many deer kil;led that way. We hunted with dogs then so most shots were within 100yards.
