Hanging an elk hide

What are some of the methods for hangin an elk hide on drywall.

They're heavy!

We have a few elk and bear rugs hanging on the wall and you bet they can get heavy.  The wife came up with the idea of using industrial strength Velcro tabs to hang them with.  You attach the fuzzy side of the tab to the hide where you want and the tooth side to the wall(I use wood screws 1 1/4 inches long so to get through the dry wall to the stud underneath).  Depending on the size of the rug use six to ten tabs along the top side and it stays on the wall but can be taken down for easier cleaning.  Works for us.  Lawdog
