That's good news.  I hope the 1100 kit comes next, although $90 for a sear, 3 springs and an allen wrench is a bit steep.
But I'd pay it if it does what it advertises; there's nothing about it on the website yet.

Its does seem a bit pricey.  You can buy the springs for about $5 each which is pricey for a simple spring.  Go to the remington website.  They have the 3lb competition trap spring for around $5 plus S&H.  They are real easy top replace and they work really well.

Thanks, Jim.  That sounds like the way to go.  Probably not a big deal to lightly stone the factory sear, too.

Link to Midway USA pictorial guidance for replacement with Timney.http://www.midwayusa.com/midwayusa/staticpages/charts/rem_870_timney_trigger.htm. Looks interesting for sure. Just received 500 S&W Mag barrel for Encore to use in IN so not sure if I would go this route for my 870 yet.

I have a 870 slug gun bought a couple of years ago.  I put a scorpion (I think that is the name) trigger spring kit in my gun.  It still had the same feel, but a lot lighter.

Good idea from Timney, but pricey. Will probably get one one day though. Wonder if it would work in a 760? Hunman55
