Hi all,
I have an 1895 Marlin in 45-70 that I truly love. The problem is the scope I have on this gun sits way too high - my cheek is almost off the stock. Part of the problem is the higher mounting system but the other problem is too much drop in the stock. Anyone have any ideas? Does anyone make a stock without as much drop? I also thought of adding a pad to the comb to raise it. I've shot a couple of bears with this gun and it is a real thumper with 400 gr Speers. Thanks.
