Saw in another forum, 44 mag to be discontinued??

Hi all, don't want to start rumors, but was searching around (I am about to order a 44 magnum handi here next week) and saw on the internet on some other forum, that this are being discontinued by H&R?? The date on the post was August 2008. Somebody please tell me I can still get one of these and verify or shoot down this info. Thanks!!

I also saw some goofball on gunbroker claiming that the .357's were not going to be made any more.

I'm not privy to any insider info, but I highly doubt that's the case.

Bad info. They stopped makeing them on a SB2 frame and are makeing them on the SB1 only frame.

Especially  in the case of the .357, why would Remingon want to discontinue one of their best selling calibers... considering that people in ol' miss are going nuts for them due to Miss allowing the use of .35's in their primitive season?
