"Democrats inserted alterations to the Senate rules deep into the amended Reid health legislation - some of which would serve to make it illegal for the Senate to alter the bill in later sessions."   This repeal prohibition also applies to Medicare Review Boards, these are the 'death panels' that do not exist.
“Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty -
never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense”

Yeah I watched that mentioned last night on Fox news. Dirty trickery. We may have to wait until a new administration or congress undoes it all. And they will, probably with some reluctant push from the supreme court.

Making it illegal to change a law? That can be effectively challenged. It's totalitarian in nature.

I think the more we learn of this bill the more scary it will be. There is a tax on places running tanning beds, small builders with  5 or more employees will have to pay something like $750 per employee, no small business exemption for them. Some a justifying the tanning bed tax because it could cause skin cancer. I wonder when they will attack ammo, lead, firearms etc? All through the IRS.  Big Brother is in this bill big time.  I never really grasped the issue until yesterday!  I'm truly frightened right now. I have NEVER felt this way before.

This is typical of what the government has turned into. Their passing bills with the hope that no one reads them, or if they do, lets leave it up to the Supreme Court to decide if it's legal or not. gypsyman

Imagine the gross ignorance of trhe Democrat half of the congress...
Essentially, they are saying, " We voted for something we don't know the ramifications of...since we have not read it ! Still we are trying to make it so... no matter how bad it may be for the country and people, we are going to try to fix it so any succeeding congress cannot correct our error !"
