What was the name of the old tc switch barrel rifle? not the contender or encore, the old one that did not have an external hammer. I beleive it was late 80's or early 90's. I just cannot remember!

Could it be the TCR 83 or TCR 87 it was a brake open much like a single shot shotgun there are some pictures posted on one of the forums. I think around 90 was the last year of production and they are bringing a good price now. Saw 3 at the gun show in tulsa and were not compleat and the price was 800.00 also saw a bull stainless target barrel in oklakoma city gun show price was 500.00 and he would not back off price. Ed has a 7m mag for one but dont know price.
PS just checked, go to the single shot rifle forum second page half way down question TCR 87 0r ruger 1 last post on the subject there are 2 pictures that may help you.
