I have an 8" cap and ball but thinking of adding a 5 1/2" Cimmaron centerfire for compact use.
With compactness in mind, I would like to find an alternative to my full size 8" calvary flap holster
What are my options as far as a holster specifically made for the 5 1/2" ?
Or will a universal holster made for Ruger or 1873 clones fit provided they aren't molded?
