Dragging a deer.
« on: October 25, 2008, 12:55:08 PM »
Two friends are out hunting for the first time, and one guy shoots a deer.
They gut it out and start dragging it out of the woods.
After a short distance they meet another hunter who remarks, you are dragging that deer backwards.
What do you mean?, they replied.
Well, you are dragging it against the lay of the hair. If you drag it from the other end, it will drag a lot easier.
So the tied the rope to the head of the deer and started dragging.
One guy looked at the other and said that guy sure was right. This is a whole lot easier.
The other guy says, yeah, but we keep getting further and further from the truck.
I carry a single shot.
'cause it only takes one shot.
