Predator/Varmint Hunting Question
« on: November 23, 2008, 11:30:17 AM »
I just bought a new AR 15 for coyote, fox, and groundhog hunting.  Are there any restrictions for magazine capacity when hunting predators/varmints?  Are 10, 20, or 30 round mags legal?

One of my yote guns is a Rock River Varmint .223 and I asked the same thing a few yr. back and was told there was no restrictions for varmint/predator hunting here in IL.I usually have a 20 round mag. with about 10-15 rounds in it for calling.
