Are the Bruton range finders adequate for casual hunting ?

I think you will be disapointed with range. On big game it only worked for a little over 200 yards. I was able to get 310 off of my vehicle sent it back. If you want to keep the cost down take a look at the specs on this one.

I don't have it, got the model above. But I have the old style they first came out with. May have been yardage pro 400? Anyways they are more than adequate for hunting. Just make sure the ranges will fit your needs.
