Lake Ontario Salmon Fishing
« on: August 22, 2003, 03:48:57 PM »
In May a couple of buddies and I fished Lake Ontario with Get it Wet Fishing Charters.  We had a great time and plan to fish there again next year.
These guys operate out of St. Catherine's, Ontario.  We had a good day fishing.  The method used was trolling and we caught 15 kings between the 3 of us in 5 hours. The captain, Yvan Charrois, was a great guy to be in the boat with, which sold me on his outfit more than the good fishing, which may have been a fluke for all I know.

One caveat here.  This is only the 2d fishing charter that I have been on the first one was marked by bad fishing (which happens sometimes and I can live with), and a captain who was a verbally abusive jerk to one of the clients.  The point I am getting at here is because of my lack of experience I may judge a guide a little differently than others.

Their website is www.getitwetfishingcharters.com
They fish Salmon April-June and Walleye (Lake Erie) July-September
